Timing of abandonment and recommissioning

Stay of Execution 3 states that Edgeside Keep was damaged by an earthquake "a hundred years ago" (ca. 4609 AR by publication date) and was then claimed "not long after" by "the governor of Porthmos Prefecture".

Taldor, the First Empire 51 suggests that the earthquake occurred at the end of the Grand Campaign (ca. 4603 AR) and was "abandoned for nearly a century before Grand Duke Briarsmith reopened it as a prison" (ca., but no later than, 4703 AR).

As the most recent source of equal canon tier, I've adjusted the timing of the keeps' abandonment and recommissioning to align with Taldor, the First Empire. -Oznogon (talk) 20:16, 15 February 2025 (UTC)

Teleportation wards

Stay of Execution 5 states that the wards on Porthmos Prison's walls allow teleportation and similar spells to enter the prison, but states that they do not work within the walls. Taldor, the First Empire 51 explicitly states that teleportation fails for both entering and exiting the prison.

Since Taldor, the First Empire is the most recent source of equal canon tier, I've adjusted a reference to teleportation magic accordingly. -Oznogon (talk) 20:02, 15 February 2025 (UTC)

Grinnd's diet

Stay of Execution 5–6 depict Grinnd as seeking books in order to eat them. Taldor, the First Empire 51 states that Grinnd enjoys books and illustrations despite their tendency to be quickly destroyed by life on the frontier, with no mention of Grinnd eating books. Belly of the Black Whale 68 describes Grinnd as a bibliophile without mentioning book-eating.

Since Taldor, the First Empire and Belly of the Black Whale are higher-tier sources, I've removed references to Grinnd's diet of books. -Oznogon (talk) 20:02, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
