Talk:Qlippoth/Conflicts

From PathfinderWiki

Plural form

Paizo predominantly, but inconsistently, uses "qlippoth" as both the singular and plural forms.

Notable conflicts include:

  • Monster Core, which internally conflicts multiple times on the plural form of "qlippoth". It uses "qlippoths" in a sidebar on page 79, in the gongorinan description on 281, and in the thulgant description on page 283. The book consistently uses "qlippoth" as the plural form elsehwere, including in sidebars or descriptions on the same pages as the deviations.
  • King of the Mountain 62 uses "qlippoths" in the description of Areelu's Ganglion but uses "qlippoth" in the planar statblock.
  • Orders from the Gate consistently uses "qlippoths" throughout.
  • The Bastards of Erebus (qlippoth-spawn 64) and Horror Adventures (Bestiary chapter 232) each use "qlippoths" for the sole plural usages in those books.

PathfinderWiki uses the predominant "qlippoth" as the plural form, but this could change subject to future canon works or an official clarification. -Oznogon (talk) 16:00, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
