Position

The text of Tomb of the Iron Medusa describes the tomb as being located "roughly 35 miles to the northeast of the Lion Sleeps Inn". A locator map of the inn and Tomb in Tomb of the Iron Medusa is unscaled. The map of Taldor in the newer Taldor, the First Empire places the Tomb at a location relative to Pol about twice the distance from the Lion's Pass Inn as depicted in Tomb of the Iron Medusa.

Barring an official clarification, or an updated and scaled map that depicts both locations, this conflict is unresolvable. This might be revisited after Shining Kingdoms, a work about the region that includes Taldor and will likely include an updated map and descriptions of locations. -Oznogon (talk) 18:55, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
