The Tomb of the Iron Medusa is the underground final resting place of House Adella, a noble house of Taldor that once was among the empire's most wealthy and extravagant houses. They descended into diabolism and depravity, and the house was dissolved within the span of a single generation during the 43rd century AR.1

Description
The Tomb is located beneath the Adella Necropolis. Both were designed by the half-fiend medusa Suasandra, also known as the Iron Medusa, a granddaughter of Geryon and an architect of Dis. House Adella recruited her to design its tombs and vaults, which culminated in her creation of the Adella Necropolis.2 After its completion, the Adellas imprisoned Suasandra within the necropolis.3
The tomb was designed with stout defenses—including traps, magical wards, and the Adella curse—to prevent others from tampering with the bodies. The Adellas were concerned not only with tomb robbers but also Tar-Baphon, then a present danger to the region known for raising corpses as undead to serve in his armies.2
The necropolis's name and location have since been erased from recorded history.1 It is located in the Headwater Gap in the foothills of the World's Edge Mountains,4 northeast of the Lion Sleeps Inn near Zimar.5✝
