Other winter fey (Moved from Talk:Winter redcap)

Should we now create redirects of winter versions of other fey (winter gremlin, winter nuckelavee, winter ankou, etc...) and categorise them in the same way as this redirect currently is? I can't help but feel that this is going to be a mess. - HTD (talk) 01:37, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

The article, if it's needed at all, should probably be winter fey, and be about their shared traits and not about the qualities of each individual fey creature. If this were a zombie redcap, for example, its primary article would be about zombies, which may or may not mention that redcaps can be zombified, depending on how broadly it defined creatures that can have the template added.—Paizo Publishing, LLC.png Yoda8myhead (talk) 01:56, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
That is currently the case with the redcap and winter fey articles, but the categorisation of this redirect complicates things (by how it sets a precedent for creating redirects for templated creatures and putting them into categories). - HTD (talk) 02:04, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, I'd rather not do that. Since there are hundreds of templates and thousands of creatures, we set ourselves up to potentially make far more redirects and categorized dummy pages than are useful. This should probably be its own forum topic so such decisions aren't sequestered in the talk page of a potentially scrubbed redirect.—Paizo Publishing, LLC.png Yoda8myhead (talk) 02:14, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
It was on the wiki for five years unnoticed so I doubt anything was going to catch on fire. And it has a statblock in an AP, which is exceptional; not sure how an exception can be a precedent. -Oznogon (talk) 02:18, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
