Three-pillared yang na
Three-pillared yang na
(Alchemical item)
A three-pillared yang na is a traditional style of tattoo from Tang Mai, taking the form of three lines of Tang script forming the shape of a tree. When applied in a specific ritual involving jasmine, turmeric, and the flower of a yang na tree, the tattoo provides its bearer three blessings: an increased level of persuasive ability, knowledge of the direction toward the yang na tree from which the flower had been taken, and improved resistance against spiritual harm.1
