Unknown are terrifying fey in the shape of gaunt, faceless, pallid humanoids with translucent skin. They feed off the mental energies of other creatures and erode the psyche of their humanoid victims, usually helpless ones, to turn them into new unknown. It is speculated that unknown may have been originally fey that became trapped in the Dreamlands and became remade by similarly lost minds.
