Ur-Buvos is a dire owlbear believed to live in the Realm of the Mammoth Lords. A creature of enormous proportions, he is said to be taller than a mammoth, with molting hide that is white in winter and brown in summer. Some believe that he is immortal, for elders in the region have spoken of his stories for over nine generations. Others claim that feasting on his warm heart could make a person immortal, but none have managed to claim this prize.1
