Vampiric mists are solitary, sentient aberrations of a foamy, amorphous, but ultimately corporeal consistency who draw blood from prey that they hunt in order incite flavor-enhancing fear. Despite their name, appearance, and predilection for blood, they are neither undead, incorporeal, nor related to vampires—and they seem take advantage of such confusion in their tactics.1
