Yaril (presumably Yaril al-Parishat given Keleshite naming conventions) is a male member of the royal family of Kelesh and, as of 4724 AR, designated heir to the throne.

Background

Yaril is the son of Padishah Emperor Kalish XXII and Queen Shubat. Yaril was born in 4692 AR to a Qadiran-born noblewoman whom Kalish took as a consort earlier that year, and Kalish designated Yaril to be the heir to the throne. His birth empowered the Qadiran faction in the imperial court.

Yaril has many cousins and half-siblings, including Layilah al-Parishat, Zhaleh Yesfihir, Kalan, and Deena al-Parishat.

Due to Yaril's reputation as a debaucher, Kalish's Queen Shubat has threatened to disown him, which would render him ineligible to take the throne and throw the succession into chaos. Safiya, a shahiyan of the imperial family's Haxaemenid branch and cousin of Queen Shubat, supports Kalan, another of Kalish XXII's sons, as heir; Amer Zhaleh Yesfihir and Xerbystes II support Yaril's cousin Layilah as another alternative heir.
