Zefiro Balinger is the curator and director-owner of the Museum of History in the High Quarter of the Chelish city of Corentyn. The museum is housed in a converted courthouse, a building that is taller, less cramped, and in a much better state of repair than the buildings nearby.[1]
Zefiro remains—secretly—faithful to Aroden, a friend to the Pathfinder Society, and to preserving history. When members of the Imperial Ministry of Historical Accuracy request revisions to any history books held by the museum, the curator forges new books while hiding away the originals—something the ministry may have begun to suspect. He seeks a discreet way to send the originals away for safekeeping in Absalom.[2]
