2009 AR in conflicts
- Taldor's Fifth Army of Exploration uses a magical siege engine known as the Worldbreaker to push through what are now the River Kingdoms and even reaches western Iobaria before turning back.1 The land of Numeria is avoided completely.23
- Taldan settler Lysius Corcina destroys the temple of an Iobarian clan of seers known as the Firespeakers, in pursuit of copper in the foothills south of the Golushkin Mountains. Corcina founds a fortress later known as Hartsfall Keep on the site, ending generations of regional peace brokered by the Firespeakers.4
