• Taldor's Second Army of Exploration begins subjugating the land north of Lake Encarthan. They make some forays into Numeria, but have to turn back due to a lack of supplies and hostile orc and fey-allied Kellid tribes.

499 AR in politics

• Conversely, the dwarves of Kraggodan welcome the Taldan Army of Exploration and they cement their friendship with peace treaties. The dwarves, furthermore, see the granting to the Taldans of the lands that are now Nirmathas as the institution of a desirable buffer zone between Kraggodan and the orcs of the Hold of Belkzen.
