Annunciation of the outer gate is a spell developed by Cheris Nefritius-Sincoth, an occultist, member of the Esoteric Order of the Palatine Eye, and history professor at the University of Lepidstadt.

By announcing themselves in the name of grim pacts that predate mortal life, the spellcaster invites creatures within a 30-foot-area that are telepathic, or otherwise understand the Aklo, Chthonian, Empyrean, Fey, or Utopian languages. If they accept the invitation, the creatures can communicate telepathically with each other and the caster for 10 minutes. If one participating creature takes hostile action against another participant, the spell ends. If the invitation is declined or directed at a creature that cannot understand it, the spell might frighten the creature.
