Redundancy? (RESOLVED)

Is there anything that distinguishes this category from Category:Four Horsemen? - HTD (talk) 16:20, 20 January 2019 (UTC)

Interesting spot. We redirect archdaemon to Four Horsemen so, within the pages, we currently have an equivalence. They probably could be merged then BUT...could there be an archdaemon who is not one of the Four Horsemen, or vice versa? Oinodaemon springs to mind. So this category page looks correct but maybe Category:Four Horsemen should have the Oinodaemon removed (and any other similar tidying done), so we have Category:Four Horsemen as a proper subcategory of Category:Archdaemons? We then should probably unhook the Archdaemon redirect and make a proper page explaining the difference. The sources that I have on hand either do not use the word 'archdaemon' at all (Book of the Damned) or treat it as an informal synonym of 'Horseman' (Inner Sea World Guide, Bestiary 2), and I don't think there'll be sufficient material to unhook the redirect. - HTD (talk) 13:47, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
