Corpselights are undead beings created when a will-o'-wisp starves to death.

Ecology

Corpselights are small, blue spherical beings composed of spongy, damp matter. They deteriorate quickly when exposed to the environment, and protect themselves by possessing the corpses of other creatures. Corpselights cannot control the bodies of creatures much larger than a human, but rumors exist of larger specimens that can inhabit proportionally larger hosts.
