Garden (Creation's Forge)

From PathfinderWiki
For other meanings of "Garden", please see Garden (disambiguation).

The Garden of Creation's Forge is a garden of tree-sized crystalline structures resembling flowers that are maintained by jyoti and off limits to all other beings, including other jyoti not tasked with its maintenance. Each flower-like structure represents the creation of a mortal soul that had ascended to divine power. Some glow with varying intensity of life, others are darkened to represent those who have died, and a few shattered flowers spew black flames and represent those who turned to undeath after their ascendance. The flower-like structures seemingly do not influence the divinities they are meant to represent.12

Geography

The Garden is located near three jyoti cities and resembles a flat crystal outcropping. Its flower-like structures are arranged in rows and are the size of redwoods.3

History

Jyoti claim to have originally seeded the Garden in the prehistoric age before the first mortal life was created in the Universe, and have meticulously observed and recorded its changes over time with a nearly religious fervor. This practice also involves divining the plans of deities from the crystals' changes, and harvesting seeds, pollen, and nectar from the structures for unknown uses.2
