Hadi1 are intelligent, awakened rats bred by the leukodaemons who reside in the ruins of Kho from the experimental rats left behind by the city's original inhabitants, the Shory. They have prehensile paws, speak Chthonian fluently, and serve as assistants in their masters' experiments.2
Variants
Some hadi have been warped further: the hadi rajwan, who are bigger and bred for battle; and the hadi tafen, who can change their form like wererats can, and often command swarms of rats.2
