The Ironfang Invasion was a conflict between the nations of Nirmathas and Molthune against the hobgoblin Ironfang Legion in 4717 AR. The conflict also included incursions in Kraggodan, particularly the Ironfang theft of the Onyx Key, which facilitated their rapid assaults on the region. Beginning with the invasion of Phaendar and ending with the formation of the goblinoid nation of Oprak, the sudden conflict upended already tense relations and the balance of powers between the region's powers.
