Magrim's Watch

Margrim's Watch is a complex in the Barricade district in the city of Kovlar. In it is a temple to Magrim surrounded by graves and mausoleums. The clergy is led by Requiate Ladarza the Steadfast.

Because of the nature of nearby Saggorak, Magrim's Watch provides free burial services on sacred grounds to Kovlar's residents to prevent the rise of undead. Wealthier citizens can, however, have themselves made into a statue using the temple's captive gorgon, thus immortalizing their figure. The temple also uses the gorgon to dispose of the corpses of monsters and particularly bad criminals, turning them to stone and then crushing them up into a building material referred to as "gravestone", which is then given to the Stonemasons' Guild to be used for construction.
