The megaprimatus is a titanic, 40-foot-tall ape who rules other prehistoric beasts in lost worlds.¹²

Ecology and habitat

Megaprimatuses are omnivorous, preferring large fruits and big prey like dinosaurs. Highly territorial, they chase away all large, threatening creatures out of their domain, resorting to violence if the threat refuse to leave. Creatures that are too small to pose a threat, like humans, can usually coexist with them and benefit as the megaprimatus chases away the big predators. These humanoids usually offer large quantities of fruit to the megaprimatus to dissuade it from rampaging through their homes. Megaprimatuses tend to overlook and underestimate humanity's ingenuity and capability to bring down creatures as big as themselves.¹
