Retroactive changes

In Pathfinder First Edition, alchemists used magical extracts to produce the effects of spells. Pathfinder Second Edition discontinues the use of the term "extract" and retroactively establishes that alchemical items are non-magical and alchemists create infused alchemical items. The Second Edition Core Rulebook alchemist contained only a single reference to a possibly magic-adjacent ability that "You infuse reagents with your own alchemical essence", although the book's Pathfinder Remaster successor Player Core 2 does not reprint this text. --Descriptivist (talk) 13:18, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
