Mutants, or mutant cryptids, are creatures twisted by long-term exposure to radiation or bizarre magical fields. Their mutations can be either advantageous or harmful.[1] Other than radiation, a quirk in their lineage, effects from their environment, or exposure to uncontrolled magic can cause mutation too.[2] Sometimes, a mutant will have evolved its differences.[3]

On Golarion

On Golarion, mutants are plentiful throughout Numeria, especially in the Felldales where they band together into roving groups.[1]
