Mutants, or mutant cryptids, are creatures twisted by long-term exposure to radiation or bizarre magical fields. Their mutations can be either advantageous or harmful.1 Other than radiation, a quirk in their lineage, effects from their environment, or exposure to uncontrolled magic can cause mutation too.2 Sometimes, a mutant will have evolved its differences.3

On Golarion

On Golarion, mutants are plentiful throughout Numeria, especially in the Felldales where they band together into roving groups.1
