Ogrekin is a transporting business located in the Docks district of Absalom. Ogrekin can move anything that needs moving anywhere within the city. Its characteristically strong employees cooperate with the Pilot House and Harbormaster's Grange to get to ships first and offer to move their goods quickly and securely. Its base of operations is a simple building called Ogrekin Hall, distinguished by two disturbing life-sized ogrekin sculptures that flank its main entrance.

Ogrekin is owned by the Second Harbormaster, Ptarnex Dexarion, who also owns the city's Red Drake Warehouses. It is managed by his second-in-command and labormaster Feldreth Noor, and its employees work with the city's Pilot's House and Harbormaster's Grange.

Controversy

In 4715 AR, several dock workers went on strike against Ogrekin after a scaffolding accident crushed the legs of laborer Guyton Grerton and Dexarion refused to compensate him. This led to a widespread boycott of Ogrekin by Absalom's laborers, and Grerton founded the Lifter's Mooring labor union to organize nearly all of Abslaom's dock and warehouse laborers and later won a seat on the Dock Council.

As of 4720 AR, the business had recently come under scrutiny as rumors that it employed magically manipulated ogres were proven true.
