Prototypes

The Prototypes is the bastion of the Infernal Duke Sabnach and home to countless numbers of his fiendish inventions.

Structure

The Prototypes resemble a vast warehouse that crawls across Hell's fourth layer Phlegethon on iron legs that look like a centipede's. Fifty legions of hamatula devils, who serve as smiths inside of the structure, constantly forge new fiendish weapons, traps, vehicles, and fortresses. These inventions are made not only of metal but also the still-living flesh of souls condemned to Phlegethon's depths. Even the greatest creations of The Prototypes are first drafts of devices to be manufactured elsewhere, and once Sabnach is done he releases his monstrous inventions back into Phlegethon's wilderness.
