Qittaj

The Qittaj are a catfolk ethnicity that can mostly be found across the more desert-like reaches of the continent of Casmaron.

Appearance

Qittaj tend to have light yellow or bronze fur that is often striped. They also normally have either green or yellow coloured eyes.

Culture

Qittaj can be found primarily across the Empire of Kelesh, even as far west as Qadira in the Inner Sea region. They can often be found in the bustling marketplaces of the empire including Katheer but just as often spend their time happily travelling between the oases and great cities of Kelesh. Qittaj are unusual amongst catfolk in that they actually have surnames: normally the name of a beloved ancestor. The Qittaj are also the most religious of all the catfolk ethnicities, usually worshipping the sun goddess Sarenrae.
