The Rainkin Academy is a large Witanji dromaar school that can be found within the orc kingdom of Nine Walls.

Geography

Rainkin Academy sits within the Witanji half-orc city of Witlani within the nation of Nine Walls. The Academy and Witlani sit within the sixth of the nine walls, keeping it well protected from the exterior dangers of the Mwangi Expanse. Rainkin Academy consists of a large number of manor houses, each of which specializes in a different umbrella of inter-related topics.

Academics

Within Rainkin Academy the Witanji practice magic, train for demon-hunting combat, create art, and follow many other various academic paths. The school tends to be the backdrop to a lot of personal drama within its student body. Witanji dromaar are under immense social pressure from their Matanji orc parents, granted great privileges these half-orcs are also a source of civic pride and expected to improve the lives of their entire community, an expectation they normally struggle with. Escaping these expectations was one of the reasons Witlani was founded as an exclusively half orc settlement, but the expectation still remain outside of its walls. Dromaar trying to skirt, subvert or completely escape these societal expectations and pressures is also a source of a lot of the Rainkin Academy's interpersonal conflict and drama.

History

Rainkin Academy was originally founded by Ruksaw the Decapitator and was for a long time known as The Academy of Ruksaw the Decapitator. The name was changed to Rainkin Academy when the surrounding settle of Witanli was reformed into an exclusively half-orc community, some however still call it Ruksaw's Academy, even generations later.
