A remora pad is a wax paper covering a one-foot-length strip of alchemical adhesive. When set between two items, it not only glues them together, but also makes the seal waterproof for 24 hours. Strong pulling can break this seal fairly easily, although it can hold up to 200 pounds if there are no sudden jolts. Remora pads are often put on undersea animals so that their riders are able to stay on while traveling underwater. Because of this use, they are commonly found in Aelyosos.
