Fueled by hatred and a compulsive need for revenge, a revenant rises from the grave in order to pursue and stop its murderer.12

Revenants are single minded in their obsession, ignoring all others in their set task. They are utterly devoid of compassion or logic, knowing only the hatred for its killer. Once its revenge has been sated, it can finally find peace in death.3
