Simret was considered the most powerful warlord of the nascent Tekritanin League ca. -2764 AR. She was responsible for the first treaty of alliance with Osirion, whose pharaoh Jetrieti III gifted her an ebon stone carved from the same source as the keystone of the Pyramid of Masks.1
The stone purportedly would make its wielder undefeatable in battle, and Simret proved the claim true by boring a hole in it, mounting it on a wooden handle, and wielding it as a mace in every victory of the League over the Jistka Imperium, culminating with the Battle of Red Sands. The stone bore a fanatical Osiriani intelligence and named itself Abat-Ne, and the mace was passed down to Tekritani chieftains for generations.1
