The first sons of perdition were fallen angels who were corrupted by seductive creatures of the Outer Rifts. Cast out of the celestial realms, they were stripped of their bodies and empowered by Abyssal forces to covet a new physical form, and seek to corrupt and possess righteous and physically attractive mortals to this effect.1

Appearance

In its natural form, a son of perdition is invisible. When revealed, its body resembles a pallid gray-skinned humanoid who is typically six feet tall with molting black raven's wings and vacant black holes in place of eyes. Despite their name, sons of perdition can be of other genders.1

Abilities

A son of perdition's touch is both corrupting and sensory in nature. The outsider can determine how susceptible to possession its victim is. If powerful enough to overcome its victim, the son of perdition can then forcefully inhabit their body until the suppressed host either overcomes the son of perdition or until the outsider is exorcised.1

Sons of perdition reproduce by draining a possessed host of its will to live. Upon the host's death, its soul immediately becomes a son of perdition and can be resurrected only by casting the evil out of their body and performing a true resurrection.1

Its inherent evil is strong enough to emanate a protective field of power from its body. Sons of perdition can also mask their alignment from detection, and can speak Chthonian, Empyrean, Common tongues, and through telepathy.1
