The Sureshire Family was the family that originally owned the famous Sureshire Ranch in the Ligos Prefecture of Taldor. The last member of the Sureshire family died over six centuries ago but as a result of the heritage and prestige of the Sureshire Ranch, the Sureshire family lives on, even if it only in memory. After all according to apocryphal folk legend it was the Sureshire Family who bred the first ever horse, by cross-breeding a deer and a unicorn.1
