Talk:Ashadieeyah bint Khalid/Conflicts

From PathfinderWiki

The spelling used in the article is taken from The Great Beyond. Her name is spelt A'shadieeyah (i.e. with an apostrophe) in Descent into Midnight.--Amethal2 19:36, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure what the official guidance is, generally I'd consider the Guide to the Multiverse as the more definitive source and I had a quite look over some of the the genie names in The Impossible Eye and there did not seem to be any with an apostrophe, not that this proves anything its just an observation.--Cheddar bearer 20:04, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
In the case of something with an apostrophe, it's generally safe to assume any versions without the apostrophe are preferred, as we don't like to use apostrophes in names in published material except in extreme cases. —Yoda8myhead 20:24, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

I think this is at least unofficially resolved thanks to tier 1 Planar Adventures consistently using Ashadieeyah bint Khalid (p. 134 in both the text and statblock for the Opaline Vault). -Oznogon (talk) 17:34, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
