Founding year
4576 AR cites the Campaign Setting to say that the Order of the Rack was founded then; This page cites The Bastards of Erebus to say it was founded in 3577 AR. --Goblin Witchlord 19:48, September 11, 2009 (UTC)
- This is a typo I think the Westcrown: City of Twilight article refers to the Hellknights first conquest (Taranik House p58) in 4577. I guess the order was founded in the year previous which would put it in line with the campaign setting. I will correct - Manannan 19:58, September 11, 2009 (UTC)
- The 4576 AR date is the correct one. --brandingopportunity 20:03, September 11, 2009 (UTC)
- Based on the canon hierarchy, both sources hold the same merit. Please follow canon policy regarding conflicting sources when making fixes to this discrepancy on this or any other article. -- yoda8myhead 20:06, September 11, 2009 (UTC)
- I don't believe there is a conflict here but I have recinded my changes. - Manannan 20:15, September 11, 2009 (UTC)
- I think there is a conflict here, unless I've missed something. It's not a big deal if there is, which is why we have policies in place to handle such a situation. We can ask for clarification on the issue on the Paizo boards if you feel that is necessary. Such clarification would serve as Tier 0 canon, but a note of the discrepancy between the two Tier 1 sources should still be noted. -- yoda8myhead 20:18, September 11, 2009 (UTC)
