Conflict? Or timeline confusion?

In Donal Carent, he's a Varisian cobbler who leads the Wreckwash Blades and lives in the nicest tent in the Varisian camp in Magnimar. In "The Box", Donal Carent is a lowly dockside informant, and a man named Giuleppeschi (art) is a Varisian cobbler who's kapteo of the Wreckwash Blades and lives in the nicest tent in the Varisian camp in Magnimar. The Project:Canon policy doesn't list official fiction lines, like Tales and web fiction, in any tier and I don't have Magnimar, City of Monuments to confirm it, but I'd assume the Campaign Setting book would trump "The Box".
