Talk:Pathfinder Modules
Should we rename this article "Pathfinder Modules" and try to head off any future confusion over the change in the name of the product line?

- I think we should. We can rename it and keep the redirect, so that any references to the original name for the product line, be they existing or new, lead to the active article. -- Heaven's Agent 01:23, 6 May 2008 (EDT)
Level Ranges
There appears to be some inconsistency about how we list level ranges. For many modules, it really is level N, but then will say "by the end of the module, players should be level N+1". For some modules we only list level N, while others we list "Nth-N+1th". Which direction should we go? I lean towards the second, but both arguments seem valid. -- VestOfHolding 13:17, 30 March 2016 (PST)
- I'm personally fine with listing the level range if the module itself lists a level range, which is what we already do with adventure path issues. The Modules line is where my game book collection is probably the thinnest, so I'll defer to folks who have more of them.
- The only thing I feel strongly about here is that if we list a module's level ranges here, we should also add those levels to the {{Adventure overview}} in their product pages so they're categorized appropriately. -Oznogon (talk) 20:32, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed. My next task on my list is to actually go through those pages and make sure the appropriate changes are reflected. Just wanted to check on which way to change a bunch of them first. The main point of contention I see are the ones like Into the Haunted Forest, where the module itself only cover level 1, but does say "By the end of this module, characters should reach 2nd level". So the players will have completely finished the module when they level up. Does that still count as a "1st-2nd" module to people? -VestOfHolding (talk) 14:03, 30 March 2017 (PST)
- Just a note, whatever this discussion decides (I don't really have the opportunity to run modules, so don't have a standing one way or the other, they are just a source of Lore for me) should most likely also be reflected in the Help:Writing an article about a book and in the handy article creation helper tool Oznogon made. -- Cpt kirstov (talk) 14:53, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
- Good call-out. I'll add that to my list, thanks! -- VestOfHolding (talk) 12:34, 31 March 2017 (PST)

Missing Modules
The Gauntlet and Thornkeep are missing from the PF1e modules list. Is there a reason for their exclusion? Emky (talk) 01:03, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
- Probably just because they're weird products. I'll put them in, good catch. CadeHerrig (talk) 10:53, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
- The Gauntlet was already on there, but I threw in Thornkeep. CadeHerrig (talk) 10:59, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
