Chronology or reading order?

Is this list really a chronology? It's more accurately a suggested reading order, I think. Since in just Dave Gross's series there's one title that he recommends be read out of chronological order, it may be better to distinguish the list as such from the get-go. I made a reference in the table for his books to note this so it's at least transparent until we come to a decision on the correct name of the article. — Yoda8myhead (talk) 05:23, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

Ordering

Getting more and more useful this page...but I'll make a note here that, at some point, this list needs ordering, as I cannot determine the ordering mechanism currently. Alphabetically by author would work best I think. --Fleanetha (talk) 08:48, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

There's also the issue of characters shared between authors. Most notably, this would be Ederras and Jelani, who appeared in Liane Merciel's "Certainty" before having larger roles in Dave Gross's King of Chaos. There are likely other crossover characters I'm not thinking of, but the fact remains that the more books, stories, and comics come out, the more likely we are to see characters changing hands, making cameo appearances, and teaming up. The current layout of the article doesn't account for that at all. I don't have a good solution, because I partly feel like each character's chronology should be represented in their individual articles rather than here, since someone looking for the order of Hendregan's appearances is most likely to look on his page, rather than on Robin D.
