Spoiler?

I feel a spoiler is needed for this article re the death of the Gorilla King by 'adventurers' but have no idea when that happened. Which AP / module dealt with this event please? --Fleanetha (talk) 18:40, 9 July 2020 (UTC)

He did appear in Vaults of Madness, but the text in that adventure says that he surrenders to the PCs instead of getting killed, so the death most likely happened off screen some time after that. (I deliberately put no spoiler tag on this page for a reason.) - HTD (talk) 15:00, 11 July 2020 (UTC)

I did a quick bit of research and I think you are right, HTD. There is some material in 'Continuing the Campaign' in the last module of the AP, which is relevant but not conclusive. Paizo may have decided this was the way the story ended as one of many possible outcomes from the AP. I did quickly check through all other adventures in 2010 / 4710 AR and nothing there seems plausible. --Fleanetha (talk) 11:07, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
