Position

Published maps conflict on Whitethrone's position, especially relative to other settlements in Irrisen.

• The map on the Irrisen, Land of Eternal Winter inside front cover places Whitethrone on the midpoint of the Glacier Lake coast between Hagby and Ytterjorna, due north of Riekamesto. This is consistent with Whitethrone's position in The Shackled Hut 9, where Whitethrone's distances from Waldsby and the eastern end of Glacier Lake are meaningful for travel time between encounters, and also with the locator maps in Exiles of Winter, Cities of Golarion, People of the North, and The Witchwar Legacy.
• The World Guide poster map of the Inner Sea region places Whitethrone near the eastern end of Glacier Lake. This is consistent with other works that use this map, including the trade routes map in A Taste of Ashes and Travel Guide.

The wiki map uses the World Guide position near the eastern end of Glacier Lake as the most recent high-tier source, but barring an official clarification this might cause conflicts with prior canon works. -Oznogon (talk) 23:38, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
