Titan's Fountain

The Titan's Fountain is located in the Precipice Quarter of Absalom; it gained its name as at its centre is an enormous, untarnished steel fist that seems as though it is punching its way out of the earth. Unbeknownst to almost all of Absalom's current inhabitants, this is almost exactly what the Titan's Fist is. Centuries ago, a colossal ancient construct built to guard Absalom, known as Gulgamodh, stood here. Centuries before the fountain was built, an earthquake destabilised the ground on which Gulgamodh stood and it sunk into the earth, burying everything except its fist. Generations later after, Gulgamodh was long forgotten and its impressive fist was incorporated into a new fountain.
