Metadame Vannessir of House Tevineg serves as sargent-at-wands for the Arcanamirium, an arcane college in Absalom.123 As sargent-at-wands, she commands the Arcanamirium's armory and oversees its occasional sales of items to adventurers and nobles.4

She is also a teacher in the Arcanamirium's Battle Magic program, where as of 4720 AR she had taken a strong interest in both the skills and influential parentage of the prodigious teenaged student Vanissi Gaatan.3
