Xoxl is the captain of the Emerald Guard, the city guard of Xin-Edasseril, and the champion of Runelord Belimarius. Xoxl is the wielder of Belimarius' Alara'hai: Tannaris, the Sword of Envy. He feels shame at his elven heritage, due to the nation-wide jealousy that Edasseril felt for their Mierani elf neighbours, and serves Belimarius due to her promise that she would magically transform him into an Azlanti human. However, Belimarius has continued to stall on fulfilling her promise, and Xoxl's frustrations are near to a tipping point.
