Yaoguai (legacy creature)
This article contains information of uncertain canon status due to changes made in Tian Xia Character Guide. Additional context might be available at Meta:Yaoguai (legacy creature). |
- This article covers the magical beast as defined and used in Pathfinder First Edition. For the Pathfinder Second Edition ancestry, which has significantly different properties and canon information, see yaoguai.
Yaoguai1 are monstrosities created by magic that combine multiple creatures into one. Due to the pain of their creation and existence, yaoguai seek to kill and escape their creator as soon as possible, and are violently unstable, attacking at the first provocation. Yaoguai can look wildly different from each other, but most have similar abilities.2[citation needed]
