An android foundry, also known as an android creche, is a technological facility from the distant planet of Androffa that can autonomously manufacture and store new android bodies. Several foundries are scattered across the nation of Numeria in the Inner Sea region of Avistan, where the Androffan spaceship Divinity crashed in an event known as the Rain of Stars.

Functionality

Foundries produce androids in artificial bodies that resemble adult humans of all shapes, sizes, colorations, gender expressions, and ethnicities. Each new body installs a new mortal soul upon creation, and the resulting android has no understanding of their surroundings or purpose and only rudimentary skills.

Some foundries are equipped with stasis pods that store dormant androids, as well as self-destruct mechanisms that can be triggered by explorers or looters.
