Arachnid

Arachnids are a classification of eight-legged arthropods often associated with vermin¹ that includes scorpions, spiders, and ticks.²

On Golarion

Scorpions are common and deadly enough across Golarion that they are often used as cultural examples of duality, and sometimes worshiped as deities.³ The region of the Alavah Peninsula in Qadira is home to a large number of desert-dwelling giant spiders.⁴
