Arachnids are a classification of eight-legged arthropods often associated with vermin1 that includes scorpions, spiders, and ticks.2

On Golarion

Scorpions are common and deadly enough across Golarion that they are often used as cultural examples of duality, and sometimes worshiped as deities.3 The region of the Alavah Peninsula in Qadira is home to a large number of desert-dwelling giant spiders.4
