The arsinoitherium is a rhinoceros-like herbivorous megafauna with a pair of massive knife-like horns. It displays an intimidating behaviour when threatened, and those who do not retreat are faced with a charge.1
Domestication
Arsinoitheriums can be bred tame and sold to serve as pets, mounts, or less often as combat-trained animal companions.2
On Golarion
Some mammoth riders take arsinoitheriums as mounts,3 and some shamans among them manifest their spirit animal as an arsinoitherium companion.4
Arsinoitheriums roam the floodplains near the Tusk Mountains of the Hold of Belkzen, where they can become victims of the region's notorious flash floods and transform into floodslain.5
