Bastard sword

The holy symbol of Ragathiel incorporates a bastard sword.

A bastard sword has a blade that is generally around four feet in length and an elongated handle, making it too difficult to use one-handed without specialized training.

On Golarion

There have been a number of powerful or well-known bastard swords on Golarion, including:

• The Bound Blade, an adamantine version spontaneously created from the claws of Kazavon
• Briar, the weapon of the nymph queen Nyrissa
• Serithtial, said to have been created by the goddess Iomedae
