Pathfinder First Edition content
This article covers a term or subject that is relevant to the Pathfinder campaign setting only in the context of the first edition of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

Upon anointing the target with the blood of a good outsider or holy water, the spell celestial healing rapidly heals wounds for a short period of time. While the spell is in effect, the target emanates a goodly aura. A more powerful variant is known as greater celestial healing.

These spells are strongly associated with the ancient Mwangi hero Old-Mage Jatembe and the school of magic he founded, the Magaambya, although their use has spread throughout the Inner Sea region. Many spellcasters from Garund can immediately recognize its provenance and might become offended if it is misused. The spell is analogous to the evil spell infernal healing, though differs in some significant details.1
