Clockwork familiars are tiny constructs designed to resemble animals, used as familiars by mechanically minded mages. Like other clockwork constructs, they require regular winding. While each is unique by nature, some common features include the ability to enter a standby mode, to release a burst of steam, and to carry and use a magic item in its body.
